WMRS packs in repair team to fix snow cat.

On June 14, 2005 the WMRS snowcat suffered a broken steering linkage about 1.5 miles south of Barcroft Station, north of the gate. Repairs required hauling in a welding torch, chain hoist, and other heavy tools. WMRS' Ryan Kitts rounded up a mule and three horses to pack in make the repairs. This was possible because most of the snow has melted out except for in a few deep drifts which can be circumvented. The repair team consisted of Ryan, Gary, and Denise. Matt came down from Barcroft to assist.

Gary (L) and Ryan pack in, starting near Patriarch Grove. It was a very windy day.
